What's the heater ****? You talking bout turning on the A/C? When the A/C is on the electric fan should automatically come on. If the fan doesn't come on with the A/C off, then it sounds like the temperature sensor that is supposed to kick it on is faulted.

lets see if i decipha this correctly, your saying when you turn your a/c on the fan spins, and when you turn the a/c off the fan doesn't spin? sounds to me like your a/c system is functional. That is the way it is to perform... perhaps with the a/x off and the radiator fan not spinning your car is overheating... sounds like a coolant problem... have you checked the fluid? flush it? water pump ok? thermostat ok? heatcore leaking? exhaust fumes in coolant? oil in coolant? more info is needed

I'm having the same problem except we have flushed the coolant, replaced the tstat, the water pump is ok, there's no fumes in the coolant, there's no oil in the coolant and IDK about the heatercore..... So I don't know what to do next...... Could it maybe be a relay or something?? Can anyone help??

Thanks..

If the fans only work when the AC is on, the most likely cause is the coolant temperature sensor failing to tell the computer the correct coolant temperatue. Check the coolant temp sensor, not the temp gage sending unit.
