No a/c system

So as i rebuilt the motor and re-installed everything, I felt since my a/c did not work that i didnt have to put it back in, ith that being said I have the compressor in for the belt but the tubes are off, sensors unp[lugged, will this cause an issue?

I'd keep the tubes connected to keep dirt out, just in case you plan on fixing it at some point. Other than that, having it disconnected won't cause any major issues.

I have capped the firewall side and the compressor is just dead weight! Thank you for the reply!

You can always just remove the compressor all together and do an a/c bypass pulley in its place. Part number is 34202 and its made by motormite. Im running it right now just because my compressor was on the verge of locking up and plus im just going to change all my a/c parts at one time.

Might want to try a search for compressor. I thought there was a theard for deleting the compressor and all you had to do was get a smaller belt. It even listed the the size of belt needed.

Found it

Ha, I never followed the thread. Looks like a failure.
