about 3 years ago i traded a motorcycle for a 92 RS Camaro,not real sure what motor it has, maybe a 3.4 i only kept the car for a few weeks before selling it to my brother, the car did run great,and other than a few chips in the paint it looked good as well,my brother being the great guy that he is has never paid me for the car,so i went and got it back from him the other day, had to tow it because he has burnt the tranny out and the motor is knocking like crazy,i have asked before on the forum about swapping the 3.8 out of my 01 camaro for a 4.3 that i have,and was told it wasnt a good idea, id really like to get this 92 back on the road,so my question is how difficult is it to do the swap on this car?

 

hey the 3.4 didnt come about till about 94 so its not that if its a v6 its probably a 2.8 i think i have no idea about the swapping but thats the engine it has now prob

 

actually just found out it is the 3.1

 

that would actually be pretty sweet, a 4.3 into a 92, those 4.3's are strong motors, and if you have the computer, andwiring for the 4.3, it shouldnt be too hard.

 

i have all the stuff for it,comp,wiring harness and tranny.guess i might start it this weekend......
