New muffler help
I am glad to have stumbled onto this site. But back to the point, I am on the verge of being able to replace my stock muffler, and I want some recommendations on which I should buy. I have a 94 3.4L camaro. I've had this car for less than a year and Ive gone thru hell just to get it up to road worthyness. Now that I have replaced the driveshaft, the enitre cooling system, and other basic maintenance. I am ready to focus on the more performance dealings. So any suggestions to what I can look for?

I have a 94 3.4 v6 also and I have the Flowmaster 80 series it sounds likea v8 as long as you keep the RPM's down...but with any exhaust on a V6 is going to be kinda raspy at high RPM's. I have the 8"x2" tips and they look great.
Here is acouple pics of the tips

Dynomax. I can tell you for sure that thats the brand I'm going with when I get my catback. I've visited multiple privately owned muffler shops, and all the owners have Dynomax on their cars, that must say something about the brand if people that do this for a living put it on their own cars. On top of that Dynomax costs less than other brands, and breathes better. Not to mention it sounds great. IMO Flowmaster and Magnaflow sound nice, but just have way too much cabin ressonance.

I sure hate when performance comparisons are made without the measurable proof to back it up.
i.e. show me the dyno scores or other proof that proves the "breathes better" claim...

i have a 96 3.8L with flowmaster and i cant complain. it sounds very nice when on the lower rph's. at about 2500 rpm souns great.. higher than 3500 sounds pretty raspy. but for a 6 what more can you ask for. and cols air intakes will deff help out with the sound as well
