new guy with questions

Default new guy with questions

so to start of my name is andy and i have a 96 camaro 3.8 w/207k miles completely stock so far besides the sound system lol..
soo my question to you guys is that i have been looking at some headers so far ive seen the pacesetters and the obx i like the stainless steel of the obx but ive seen more of the pacesetters around.. wich one would be better with less hassle?

Pace setters ceramic coated headers. I think pace setters is the most common one guys get. Then go full cat back aswell. And cold air intake. Headers are pointless with out a cold air intake. Just my opinion.

well i already have a cai on the way so my next step is the headers... by any chance would u happen to have a link to the ceramic coted pacesetters?

I think I would get yourself a catback first or along with your headers and a high-flow cat(s)...

Summit racing has them. They are around $500. But the ceramic coat helps with keeping heat down and they hold there colour good.

the best thing you can do is help your engine breathe better. Since you already have a CAI coming, headers and exhaust will certainly help.

Its always nice to be able to do them together because you'll be under there wrenching on everything anyways. If you can't afford it, I would save up and then do it all at once, it will save you money in the long run

so get the whole system at once? sounds good lol..... does anyone know of a catback with out the duel outlet i like the single exhaust look?

I think flow master has a single outlet.

ok so its been a while and i sill have not recieved my CAI .... but the saving part is going great lol.... so i was wondering when i get my CAI if i paint it will it cause the air flow to run hot? i want to use the dupli color ceramic engine paint.
