Ah. I didn't realize that. I haven't put a CAI on mine yet. I was told I'd gain a few HP by doing that but if not then I won't waste my money

98+ had better intakes. I think the 99 still has the cast iron manifolds. You will feel the differents a set of headers makes. Make sure you get all the boltons before you get the tune. Tune by it self is ok but a tune after you free up the exhaust will be better money spent.

So would it do me any justice to get a CAI for my 1994 3.4 5-speed?

Ok thanks! I'll look into getting one. About how much HP will i gain with a CAI and a cat-back exhaust? Right now I have a stock single outlet exhaust.

OP, i checked out the K&N setup. I was looking at $450 for the K&N intake setup and it was supposed to net me between 6-7 horsepower.

exhaust and then a tune are probably the best value.

don't you just love it when that happens? up here in Canada where I live, it doesn't get that cold, but still cold enough that people can't pull stunts like that and get away with it. saving a few bucks on coolant can lead to spending thousands of dollars on a new engine.
