I've been subscribed to this forum for about a week and just like to say thnx to evreyone for all the great info and advice.
I know i want to replace my 3.8 with a 5.7 V8 and i was just wndering what's the best motor to put in it...im looking toward an LT4

 

welcome to the forums, it would be very expensive to find and actual LT4, best idea if you want to go with the LT route go with the LT1, and then get the LT4 kit, or custom heads/cam package, you could also go the LS1 route wich is comparible to the stock LT4 in performance.

 

Welcome ...I'm new here too, and I agree everyones very friendly. On my other forums (I wont mention what car lol) everyone was pretty harsh at first, always dissing the newbs ...its like you had to be initiated lol ....now their all kool, but the everyone on these forums seem open to everything which is the way it should be cause if the elders dont teach the newbs than it'll reflect on all Camaro owners right? hah ...anyway since Christmas is coming up and my Camaro is stock and slow I say everyone donates to the Sara foundation so she can mod it and not feel so darn slow! J/k, hopefully Santa will be generous ...Thanks guys!
