Howdy all. new to this forum, am a member over in the classic section at Mustang Forums. WE jsut had a big problem with the wifes '95 Camaro tonight. It got REALLY hot on the way home from work....like over 260. No water in the radiator and running rough, felt like one cylinder wasnt firing. After refilling we had water and steamcoming out of the exhaust pipe. Checked and there is no water in the oil with would indicate a block problem, so I'm thinking a head gasket has blown out.(?) Going to pull the plugs in the morning and chek for water in the cylinders, this should narrow it down to which side is blown out. is this the right move to make??
Sounds like a plan to me. You know what it is, and you're going to locate it. I don't see a problem with that. You just going to replace one side's gasket? I would think if one just blew out, the other one is not far behind. How many miles?
