First link is a remanufactured engine, the second link sells used. Jasper Engines also sells remans I believe.

Keith, I have a 99 3.8. I also spun a rod in it. As we speak, I am getting ready to remove the block from the engine stand in my basement, along with the heads and bring them to the machine shop and get them hot tanked. When I look at all the parts all over the place, I wish I just bought a used engine. Along with yourself, I wasnt hot rodding. I was beating the **** out of it!

well i know that, but if he did that, then thats should make you feel even dumber than beating it to death, id rather spin a rod gettin sideways and smokin tires than driving down the road casually
