I have a 2000 3.8 and I'm curious too... how hard is it? what are the costs? would like to hear from someone who has done it recently and hear the pluses and minuses (if any)

Chevy 101 - I would have it programmed off. No telling what somebody elses PCM would be tuned for.

niteman - If you have the programming stuff yourself, it is easy to do. Otherwise you have a few options. Find a friend with HPTuners, contact PCMforless to get a mail order tune done, or a dyno shop should be able to do it.

+1, and +1 for pcmforless. For the price, they're tough to beat.
