need help replacing front turn signal light
i just bought a new bulb for my 2001 camaro to replace the turn signal light the blew out in the front (driver's side). it's a pain in the *** trying to get at it to replace the bulb and nearly impossible to stick your hand down in doing so. does anyone have any recommendations on the best way of going about replacing it? thanks.
Best way is to remove entire headlight assembly. There is a 10 mm bolt that holds it in place on top. Remove this and carefully remove the entire housing. Takes some patience but thats the way I did it.
i had to do mine three times heres how i do it in 10 mins or so get under the car remove the plasic under guard reach up into the head light area un clip the little plasic peice that holds you signal bulb inplace put the new bulb in click it back in and put everything back and your done
I too pop the headlight assmy out. Remove the bolt as Silverbullit said, and the assembly slides toward the center of the car (right moves left and left unit to the right). You do it right, you don't even mess up the headlight aim.
I'm a little to big to slide under the car with out jacking it up and this method works well.
