Default NEED HELP! 98 Camaro Engine problems

I am new to this forum, so bare with me. I recently purchased a 1998 camaro with the V6 3800 series II engine. It has around 152k miles. I am having some engine problems/issues. To start off I have replaced the crankshaft sensor, t.p.s, water pump, MAF sensor, and all 6 spark plugs. I have also had the ignition control module checked. It checks out good. It starts fine. It has a rough idle. When I put it into gear (automatic transmission), it feels like it wants to die. But doesn't. Then i drive it down the road, I notice a major loss in power and it doesnt want to shift. My dad thinks it might be a clogged catalytic converter or a vacuum problem. I dont want to keep throwing parts and money at it. So, if anybody has any advice/solutions, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!

Don't know if I want to bare with you, I usually keep my clothes on in front of strangers. lol
Seriously, before throwing more parts at the problem get the computer scanned. Then give us the code numbers.

^ Yep I agree. If any of the parts you replaced were bad, most of them should have tripped your check engine light.
I'll bet your parts store owner sure loves you now, but you may have only needed the bear necessities to fix the problem, and still haven't found what it is.

I would definitely get it scanned but you might want to check your coil packs as well and plug wires as well
