Default Need help!

I have a 1996 chevy camaro convertible. My VIN number says that it's an RS but there are no emblems or badges on it. Is it or is it not an RS? Also...In the trunk of my car; driver's side on the wall: is a slit in the carpet. In it is a valve with several stainless steel hoses connected to it. What is this??? Thanks!

could be that whoever owned it before either sold or wrecked the ground effects that came on it if it was an RS in the first place, not sure about the stainles hoses and stuff.

Go with the vin thats the only thing they can't change. The stainless hardware, free NOs parts may be my guess.

Question :

Have you looked under your car to see if you can tell if ground effects have been on it before ???? I am sure that if the car did have ground effects on it you would be able to tell from looking under the car around the edges where they would have been placed. My guess is that the hoses in the back ( trunk ) of your car are for NOS ........ with that being said I am sure that the ground effects were removed for a reason ..........

I am sure the VIN # would not lie to you about what you car is

is the valve on the left with a small square of carpet cut out above it, it is probebly just the pump for the top since that is hydrolic
