Default my invention

ok so i was bored at work and i have a really cool boss that lets me go to the boneyard on company time...i came across a heavily modded grand grix. the headers were stripped off it, it still has the supercharger with a modular pulley kit, wizzaired cai. and a northstar throttle body kit. the throtte body kit i got FOR FREE!!!! i have a 2001+ 3800 upper intake laying around and i have modified the adaptor to fit on the F-body intake! finially a oversized throttle body that works in theory. im going to take it to work and prefect it. im not gonna install though till i do my cam install. i aslo got a spacer so my plan is to drill a mounting hole near the top hole and countersink it and use a bolt to affix the top portion. then once thats mounted to the intake you can mount the north star kit or just mount a gp throttle body. so.. any ideas, thoughs?

You do realize you will see no gain in HP? The original thottle body on the 3.8 is a bit over kill. I am told the 3800 TB is good till about 280 to 300 HP. After that you should start looking at upgrading it.

Or you can spend $30 and make a nice CAI to fit your older style intake/TB. The 98+ are the only ones that have room for that type of intake. I have seen no information or no claims that that type of intake is any better then a plain CAI. In fact the 02 are rated the same HP as the 96. Its seems like a lot of work with no real benifit. I work in a machine shop and I can make any adapter I want to install any TB I want. I just need to see a reason to do it.
