is the 94-97 v6's iron block and heads and 98+ aluminum block and heads? also how do you remove that gay speed limiter that kicks in at 118 on a 96 3800? both these questions are bothering me. thanks

 

The 3.1s have cast iron block and heads. I am not 100% on the 3.8, but I seem to remember the block being cast iron. As for the speed limiter. The speed limiter is part of the PCM software, and can be deleted by tuning the PCM.
