Really if you open your hood you will see it. its on the driver's side front of the engine.

 

ah i found it.. now i gotta find the right tools to get that sucker off which it was on the passenger side also i guess for the 93-96 camaros?

Are we talking about the egr valve here? This is where it is on a 3.8.

 

yeah that is easy access for you! lol mine is a pain in the[:@] i got 1 of the 3 screws i need to take it out.. cant reach the others so i gotta go to the garage and work on it there.. but should i clean it or just get a whole new one?

thats a no go for me my egr is bad.it threw back up the p1404 code. I cleaned the carbon out of it but still hesitates. Guess i gotta shell out 170 for the new one.

 

well robswreck98 i also took mine apart i cleaned mine though.. not for sure if i need to replace it or not though.. mine costs 190.00 that i dont have so i dont know what to do... because it still chugs.. but mine hasnt been throwing a code though?
