Meineki retards????
I went to my local meineki shop, to ask them if they will be able to throw 3inch pipe from my cat to my muffler and they were like no we cant cux theres not enough room to go over the axle..... im i going crazy or are they serious???, the other pro-shop siad they can do it no problem (i wanted to shop around for the ebst rpice), so for 250 buckaroos theyll do it custom bent 3in to my flowmater super44, any1 else run into this problem?
You can usually tell if the people know what they are talking about or if they just work there for a job. What was the guy like? Did he seem knowlegable or was he clueless? I dont see why it wouldnt work but im not to experianced
like i said lol , i was just shooping for a better price but then again 250 in cluding all parts and labor WELDED sweeeeet lol, is well worth it and this place is quite well known in the automotive world and in a lot of magazines, Its called Gallon Measures lol and tehir building looks like a old school milk bottle hahaha
A 3" pipe will be a tight fit where it goes over the rear axle, but it Can be done. GM "solved" the problem on the V8 cars by making the pipe smaller where it goes over the rear axle, and in the process left an opening for aftermarket people to start making cat back systems. The Meineki people probably did not want to deal with the possibility of the tail pipe and the rear axle hitting each other and having you complain later.
I can't comprehend your "need" for A 3inch exhaust in the first place, unless you have already done the 3400 hybrid swap, The 3.4 doesn't have adequate air intake to utilize a 3 inch exhaust. Seems Like a waste of money, save the 250 and put it towards a 3400 top end.
