96 3.8 auto with y87 pack, if the speed limiter was taken off, what sort off speed do these cars hit (with correct speed rated tyres of course)
has anyone ever been mad enough to do it.
may take it to germany one day and find out...

 

well i no with the limiter on it will stop at 118mph. but i think it would top out at 123mph or 128mph

Depending on what you have done to it... Some guys on that forum have gone anywhere from 130ish to 155mph.

 

Fastest ive ever been is 118 in my Camaro, and i went 179 in my dad's 2004 Vette Z06, after college im buying it from him : ), i need that in my life. (But BTW 160+ is scary as hell)

I dont plan on doing it again, it was just a one time run on the interstate at 3 am, it was 80 degrees, NO wind, and freshly paved. Im stupid but not suicidal.

LOL my 4.3L S-10 reaches 97mph before hitting the speed limiter LOL the sad part is im only around 4K on my tac.

 

fastest i've driven? 118 several times in my car, 149 on an 07 yamaha R6, and 148 in an 06 Nissan 350Z (by the way, that car could easily go 160+)

 

please dont go that fast on public roads. i dont want you to run over my cat. and if you do well......
