Default MAJOR ENGINE ISSUES

Alright I have some engine issues that i need advice for.
1st- it smokes...cant tell if its power steering fluid or oil but i just recently put in about 2 quarts of oil and the next day the level went from full to empty. no joke, i'll be siiting at a light and you'll see white smoke coming out of my hood. i think that its burning from the bottom so i was thinking it was either valve gaskets or oil pan issues. i need advice on how to remedy the prob.
2nd- its very hard starting. at times, its taken 2 or 3 cranks to fire. and it will sometimes just....quit. kinda like its running out of fuel. i'm not sure if its the EFI or what.

...O and this isa 1995 V6 3.4L with about 180k miles on it. about a year ago, i tuned it up and replaced head gasket.
-thanks.
and also on a side note, if anyone is selling a 3.8L or a z28 (preferablly under 4g), i'm kinda looking. note: just looking.

Default RE: MAJOR ENGINE ISSUES

First of all I have 95' 3.4 with 182,00 and have had both these probleoms, the smoking could be from your A/C compressor not engaging and having the belt spin around it and smoke and the valve cover gaskets you need to clean off and see if you can see a oil leak. The hard starting is your fuel pump letting fuel back into the tank. Try cycling the key 3-4 times and then start is and pump it once or twice and see if that helps. Let me know.
