Wanting to put a intake in my 01 v6 but I want to fabricate it myself. All I need is the dimensions to cut out the guess work. Yes, I could order one, have it delivered to my doorstep and drop it in but what fun would that be?

 

Even with my inability to obtain the dimensions the project is moving forward. I've got some rough figures from measuring the area it will have to fit in and I'll be starting to put together a mock up from cardboard this weekend to get the measurements fine tuned before I start on the metal fabrication. This will be in the ftra or ssra style instead of slp like I originally planned. I'll make sure to get pics and dimensions for anybody else who wants to build their own. I'm also contemplating creating a carbon fiber version in the future. Thoughts?
