Default Location of the gas tank, pertaning to mounting amps.

Hey Everyone,

I have a 96 Camaro w/ T-Tops, but I was planning on mounting my amp's on top of the little, well i'm not sure what it's called.. The hump between the backseat and the trunk. After looking under the car, it seems to be the location of where the gas tank is. I'm not sure though, because I was taking a look at some of other camaro audio setups, and I see amps mounted there, if anyone can let me know where it is, of if they have a way on how to mount them there if it is indeed where the tank is.

This is currently where they are..

This is where I want them.

I know this belongs in the Audio area, but I can't seem to access it. (Sorry. )

Thank you,
xxBladeFirexx

if u go right behind the seat u should be ok. tank is to the rear of the differential, take a look underneath the make sure there are no brake lines, wireing, or fuel lines in the area where the screws will go.

Alright. Thanks. I didn't see much, I may just have to put it on stands to get a closer look.
