Little trouble here...
Hey everybody, hoping to get some help...
Got a '95 Camaro 3.4L V6...
Starts fine, but when idling in park or neutral, rpm's dip about 100 rpm spradically. When I put it in gear, the dip in rpm's gets more noticeable (didn't record the amount of dip though). Now, when trying to accelerate, it surges, spits, sputters, and generally has a hell of a time getting up to speed. Noticed also that the temp gauge was pretty high. Checked fluid levels and all were well.
Gas tank is full, even put a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in it... plugs were changed last month, and the air filter and intake all look good.
Please help!!

RE: Little trouble here...
ive got a 3.8 v6, and mine did the same thing, we took it in they replaced the head coils, and pressure cleaned all the injectors, costing like 500 bucks, later on did we find out it was the pressure control valve, only 50 bucks. so yeah, that fixed it, maybe this will help ya

RE: Little trouble here...
I'm having the same problem with mine. I've also got a 95 3.4L V6. In the mornings i have to rev it up to about 2500 let it stay there for about 3-5 seconds then hit the gas so that the RPM's is about 3500. I do this about 4 or 5 times or untill the surging (spitting, sputtering, etc...) stops.. I dont know why it does that...And to be honest, I haven't checked into it much. It might be b/c its not warmed up enough when you start it, I dunno I'm probably wrong on that part, but like I said I haven't looked into it much. But the thing with the temp. gauge getting so high might have to deal with your water pump, if you haven't already checkd it out... I haven't looked into mine yet b/c basically, I'm broke. You might also want to check your radiator, I just flushed mine and it was NASTY!! And although it didn't really help much, at least I know that its cleaned out! I dunno if any of that will help you, but there ya go... Post back with some updates, let us know how things are goin...
