So this 250 HP number -- is this Dyno proven, or just your hypothesis? What are all the mods you currently have?
BTW: I agree about the surprise power V6 -- after all, the 2010 V6 Camaro is a little suprise in itself... ;-)

This... I've spent less than a grand in parts and tuning and I'm sitting at 250 to the crank lol... Then again I do all my own work... The only thing I really paid for was my headers, tune, and pipe/muffler :$ Which equates to around $500... I'll get a cam and set of heads when I get a new job... At that point, I'll be flirting with 300 hp and much less than 12 grand. I like the fact I have a V6 that would surprise the hell outta most V8 fans.

Headers and a tune will have you flirting with 200 HP to the ground if you have intake and catback and aluminum DS. I personally put 212.7 to the wheels with a little extra goodies.
That right there in itself is around 230-240 to the crank... Imagine fully ported heads, a big cam, and a nice set of injectors/pump =P All that with a pretty tune means 300 hp
