L67 swap?

im sure this topic has come up several times. but forgive me im new to the world of forums. i own a 1997 rs with the stock 3800ii and want to swap it with a 97 s/c l67 out of a riviera. and from what i understand is that when its mounted im our cars the intake will face the fire wall. has anyone done this yet? and i think chevy made a 01 s/c 3800? maybe it was a project. i just saw pics a while back and couldnt find ne thing lately. please help me before i waste my time and money. thank you very much!

Its not that it is facing the fire wall thats the problem. Its in the fire wall. It has been done by one person. Unless you have a machine shop it would be very pricey. Even the guy who did says it aint worth it. There are 50 different ways to get more power out of the 3800 for way less bank.
