Default intermediate pipe

i was thinking about buying this for my car, but i dont know where exactly it goes in the exhaust system. i figured it was either between the cat and muffler or between the manifolds and cat. is it worth the money?

Sure looks to me like the pipe that goes over the axle to the mufflur. That hanger is right next to the muffler there is another long pipe that feeds it from the cat. Why would just replace a random single pc of your exhaust system? When it comes to impoving flow its all or nothing. One better pipe would be useless. Also install one pc of an exhaust system is very labor intense.

That's the pipe that goes over the axel to the muffler. Not worth it. Save your money and get a good catback exhaust system.

Why on earth would you want to replace a mandrel bent stainless steel pipe with a POS stock steel pipe? You do know that will not work with a Magnaflow setup? The Magnaflow intermedit pipe is designed for the magnaflow muffler location not the GM stock location. The pipe you are looking at is a factory replacement. It can be made to work with a little tweaking and adapters but why would ya…..

Maybe you should tell us what you are trying to do and we can help you get there.

All im looking for is more power, and i was thinking maybe the pipe would increase the exhaust flow. I'm looking for anything less than $500. anything you can suggest?

agree with the gorn, and headers would be a good addition.
