idk, my factory dash was just hot glued to the windshield with no clips but, go back and look at the pics close. i got a dash cover to go on top of my factory dash because it was cracked to hell, just be VERY careful pulling it out because it is old and brittle, it will break very easily... i plan on finishing up the back of my car and the door panels tomorrow so i will post some before and after pics so you can see just how much cleaner the car will look with some fresh paint, i am going from beige to black tho. and i am also going to fiberglass my roof piece and mount 6x9's behind the t-tops on top of the back seats. and fiberglass the fabric on the top of the doors and paint all that black OHH AND BTW, i did not do my stearing wheel, i didnt have any Q-Tips to clean the groves and cracks out so it would be pointless to paint it. im gonna do it tomorrow

I'm interested to see how the fiberglassed doors will look. That would look really clean with the beige seats and carpet. Ya my dash pad is in pretty good condition. I got it all up but the part against the window. How do you like the look of the dash mat?

i like it, mainly because it is clean and unique. ill take a pic of it tomorrow and post it so you can see the mat itself. to clean up your dash i would recomend doing this. im also going to re-upholster my seats back to beige with black suade inserts, and the door panels should look really good, at least i hope they do

Ya if that mat looks really good I might buy one. They aren't to badly priced either. I'd like to get a set of leather seats but that could cost a pretty penny. I'd rather save that money for next winters project of turboing the car. I'm hopefully going to get the car dash ripped out tomorrow then it's just cleaning it and pick up some paint and start spraying. I'll post pics as I do it.

ok so after an easy battle i got the dash pad out the the bezel was a p.i.t.a. trying to get the head light switch out took a while so almost all the plastic is out and now just need to get the paint. does the plastic around the airbag come out easy? and he glove box should just unscrew at the bottom right? ill get some pics and post them before i paint then after.

are you going to do the plastic around the rear hatch? if so are you going to remove the plastic or tape of the window? i was wondering how to get that plastic off and if its worth removing it. tomorrow im going to pick up some paint after work then clean the crap out of the plastic. just washed it down tonight to get the dirt from the past 4 months off. i'll take pictures then and during each coat of paint. i think its going to look real great. to bad the exterior paint wont look as good. Grrr to rocks and dead animals laying on the road at night. thats a whole new project. hows the rest of your car looking? you fibreglass the doors?

i havent even got started yet, a guy called me right after i posted that to get his truck painted. and well business comes first. and i am going to paint that and like i said before. DO NOT PAINT ANYTHING INSIDE THE CAR... ill take mine off and let you know how to do it. i looks like next week i will be painting the inside of an oldsmobile alero. it will probably be late next week before i get around to fiberglassing. my other car is in the shop getting a full race tranny put in it. and the camaro is my DD so i have to do stuff one day at a time, i cant leave in peices one night and finish it a couple days later man. so its making this alot harder on me
