Default Instrument cluster goes dark??

So the instrument cluster goes dark when the headlights are on and the reading lams in the rearview mirror stay on and so does the one in the rear seats. Does anybody know what could be wrong with this? Thanks in advance. Also where is the Fuse Box located?

theres a fuse box on the driver side of the dash by the door hinge. you have to open the door to see or access it. theres one under the hood, under a cover on the driver side wheel wheel. what yr you have,

you said they go dark when the headlights are turned on. does that mean they are on and then go off or they dont work at all?

They don't work at all. The odometer dims and the radio lights turn off.
