Default Im boned

Just got my car back from the shop. My oil leak is 2 bad head gaskets and a rear main. And unaware to me I have a remanufactured engine. So much for Carfax. But 1 good thing to come out of this is while it was on the lift, I noticed that my exhaust system is a Magnaflow. Didnt know that, I thought I had some cheap system.

A none insurance related repair, like a engine replacment, would not show up on Carfax. Do you think garages report repairs or something? Couse even that assumes a garage put the motor in.

Are they telling you that your head gaskets are leaking oil? Anti freeze yes oil? very doubtful. Rear main can leak like a waterfall. The most you would ever see from the head is a stain maybe a little wet. I will be glad to explain why if you would like.

Ya we got under the car, the head gaskets are just wet, but it does drip. Not really a lot though, its really minor atm. And thanks for clearing up the whole carfax thing.
