I went to the local scrap yard monday and they still had the 93' z28 in the back and told me i could have free reign over the interior and i ended up getting a perfect condition dash cap for free. WIN! Since they were moving the scrapyard( im not sure how you would move a scrapyard) but everything was free so i proceeded to gut the **** out of the interior....sun visors, arm rest, fuses, *****, dash, speaker covers......next visit will be the rear buckets and maybe a fender

We had way too many 100+ degree days in Texas last summer. Mine split right up the middle. It's not at the top of my repair list yet, but did do some looking and found (Eckler's Camaro I think) was over $300, so the cap sounds like a great idea (and easier to install). Do you have a source or link?
