Just asking, did you torque them in the right sequence and at 89in lbs?

 

I didn't see an upper intake plenum bolt sequence in my repair manual for it. but as for the bottom intake yes I did.

thanks fbodyrs96. I'll tear her down to the lower intake when I get back from my surprise trip to minnesota.

 

use the 96 one. pretty much the same. some things in the interior is different, thats about it.

 

well I got the upper intake off and turns out I had coolant leaking in cylinder #1. so after torquing the upper intake down and starting to torque the fuel rail down I snapped one of the studs off. what do I do to fix that? or should I just order another lower intake from ebay?
