A bad ground will cause your gauges to act up, are they pegged to the right? If so, I would consider a ground problem...How is it possible to **** up a stereo install? Buy the correct harness splice and plug in, follow the schmatic and you should be all set. Open a book for christ sakes before you guys start ripping your cars apart. You would be amazed what a faulty ground could do, and you never know until you spend two hundred $$$$$ replacing everything.Good luck.

 

I have to agree with Chappie. It really is amazing that really simple fixes are found just by looking in the owners manual that came with the car. Having knowledge is not nearly as importnat as knowing where to find it.
