well from a performance stand point, magnaflow has the best flowing muffler on there, but if youre after sound go with flowmaster.its really a personal choice here, everyone has a different perspective.

You have what 160hp stock? Id say intake and full exhaust (headers Im not sure if anyone makes em for the 3.4l but long tubes are the only way to actually gain power, high flow cats, not sure if you have much of an option other than the Y as far as mid pipe goes and a good set of mufflers if you want better flow id go with magnaflow) and a good tune. If that doesnt get you there you are gonna want to start digging into the motor with a new cam, heads and maybe a good port and polish.

according to 1990camaroRS, the 3500 heads will bolt right up and are much better at making power. this may be a good way to go. im not sure what they cost though

if i did that except the cam where do you think that will put me?? and do you think i could get my car to run with a 1995 mustang gt b/c they are only rated at 215hp

i didnt think id ever defend a mustang....well here it goes, the mustang still has an extra 2 cylinders firing and will out down more torque, and its not hp that wins races....
