my EGR wasbad when i sold mine, and my SES light was on 50% of the time, but the SES light came on every time the evap code was thrown cuz of gas tank holes from amp.(came on if tank was above 3/4s full usually) anyway, my EGR was completely shot, the shop said it is completely busted, like mite as well take it off busted, but it very rarely sent a code on my car, and when it did, it nver effected the car at all.... just my experience with the EGR

Although it does seem that people have been having problems with the same stuff lately, just think about the cars age. Even the newest 4th gen is 5 years old, and anything and everything on a car will break via daily use after so long. I dont know about you guys but my car has 103xxx miles so im xpecting some of this random crap haha. Anyway....get the car scanned ye?

If you want to get an OBDII reader go here. Only $39. They're not bad, but don't expect it to last forever.
