Default How to replace coolant temp sensor? 95 3.4L

I have 95 3.4L Camaro. Need to replace the coolant temp sensor which is next to the thermostat housing. It appears to be nearly impossible to get to. Do you have to remove the whole plenum or is there a trick to doing it? I am hoping for a trick.

Have to tried taking off the thermostat housing to see if that helps you any better? Is the ignition in the way or what (sorry I don't know on a 3.4)?

Can't be. Its threaded into the water jacket.

Oil pressure unit is down by the oil filter.

thats exactly where the temp sensor is because mines faulty and sometimes unplugs causing my guage not to work and when i plug it in right by the power steering pump the guage turns on, then whats the sensor mounted right by the valve cover under the 3.4 plenum center front of the motor
