bought the car and it had an aftermarket red Momo Shift Kob i want to replace it but dont know if i just screw it off or if there are any screws that i have to unscrew first i tryed twisting it really hard but it doesnt move the whole shifter starts to twist can someone please help me i will include a pic of how it looks on the bottom please help i cant stand looking at it any more need to change it imediatly

 

the stock shifter just twist off.....so i guess that one should. unless the last owner like glued it or something.

 

I know with my dads old shift **** there was an allen head screw that helped hold it in. If not that then it should just screw on/off.

look toward the bottom of the *** for a allen

 

the bottom of it should twist off.

after that it will let you either twist top half off and then take mounting piece off..

or after u take bottom off, u will see allen wrnch, then after loosing that it could slide or twist off.

i had a APC **** that looked exactly like that one does, cept blue and silver instead of black and red. so i figured that mite be it lol
