Default How do I describe this.

Well i will try to explain this as best as i can. I have a cat back flowmaster and when i start the car the mufflers sound fine but theres also another noise thats there that sounds like a buzzing noise or I dono some kind of noise that shouldnt be, its def not the cat cause i replaced it. I dont know if its a muffler leak cause i put my hands in front of the exausts and i can feel pressure. But ya the mufflers sound fine but theres another noise coming from that area that sounds like a buzzing humming noise? anyone else encounter this or heard of this?

Did you install it or someone else? Up over the axle is a very tight spot. If you don't get it right the pipe can rub up high.

It also may be an exhaust leak somewhere along way if it was put together sloppy. Some of the joints mabye? Other than that I really have no clue

I think i know exactly what your talking about. Is it like a loud hissing sound that gets worse with the high rpms and is really only audbile when the engine is under load? Does it also originate from sort of the passenger side and the rear?

The sound stays around the back where the muffler is. it sounds like an electircal noise if that makes ne sense. How else would i know if its a muffler leak.

Well, after much listening with a screwdriver turns out my cat is plugged, is your SES light on?
The cat is pretty much right under the passenger seat, just look under the car and you should see it. This is what it will look like.
