i talked to him he said without the car in front of him its hard to tell. you said it starts but it sputters out and same results over and over again? because i am talking to him over the phone i want to give him as much detail as possible.

yea....we added more gas this morning and nothing changed...now its not really even turning over. i have loud pipes so i can hear when it fires but today its just wimpering once maybe twice and nothing else

my friends cobra does that, but its his idal air control, but if you not able to give it some gas and get it going thats not it, but my grandparents know of some good auto shops on the nc coast, they live out near emerald ilse, but if you happen to live near the rdu area in nc, ive got a friend that owns a shop that could help you out

it ended up being the fuel pump and while they were at it they replaced the filter as well. they had to weld through my flowmasters and drop the gas tank b/c in a 2001 the pump is still in the gas tank. so if you are having this problem and you still have stock pipes then you can probably find a way to drop the tank and replace it. thanx for all the suggestions you guys..you'll probably hear from me again. ;]
