Default Help guys

I have had my car into the shop many times this past month. It started with the car misfiring on number 3 cylinder. The guy changed the plugs, wires, and put in all new. Good soI thought. I think he reset the check engine light for the computer. Car was running fine for 5 miles and then again the sputter, and no power. Took it back and same 3rd misfire. He took it to another place to get it hooked up to a better computer and it came back as third misfire. What had happened is that it was the ignition coil. showed me that it burned through the plastic. All good again. Well its happening again! and I am really getting pissed off now. What the heck could be causing this? injector? Plugs are all brand new as well as the wires. What could be going wrong?

same thing happened to me. i had just had new plugs in twice, once with the new engine. started sputtering again, ran codes, 6th cylinder misfire. started looking, idiot putting my engine in didnt put the plug wires in right, so one touched the manifold and burnt in two. long story short.......check your wires and how they are run. this is when zip ties are your best freind.

This is when you pull my stunt... Drop a new engine (H) Much less hassle and money than you're going to spend =P Well putting the engine in is a pain... But you get the idea

Sounds like a great idea. The car is misfiring, so lets yank the engine, which is a royal pain in the ***, and put in a new one. You sound like ever dealership mechanic out there. Frigin Bozo.

Lol I'm not a dealer mechanic. I was joking... I had a piston ring go bad in mine so I just dropped a whole new engine... So calm yourself friend, especially with the name calling. It could possibly be a dead cylinder btw. Just so you know...

I never would have thought of injectors. But that is very possible. A weak stream would cause a misfire.

A weak stream could be caused by Erectile Disfunction also..E.D.
