Added one bottle of r134 on a 1999 Camaro. Compressor not kicking in still. Didn't want to over charge. Any advice? Never had a problem with it. 140k miles. Runs great.Above average condition for year model.
(NOTE: Compressor turned on briefly after I added r134. I turned it off for the night. Not working now.) Thank you!!!!! in advance for your help.

You might need more refrigerant. There is a pressure switch that doesn't let the compressor run without enough refrigerant (so it doesn't burn itself up). If you think you have enough, you might have toreplace the switch. Sounds like the clutch on the compressor works, so either it's the switch ornot enough refrigerant.
