Going back to wat the codes say. I'm stumbling away from it. It was 1120, 1220, 1221, 1516. 1120 and 1220 are tps 1 and 2. 1221 is tps 1 and 2 correlation. 1516 was throttle actuator control throttle actuator pedal position performance or something. This is the sensor mounted to the top of pedal right? I pulled the pedal out the car to get a better look at it. Its a big rectangle box. Only one plug. 24 pin plug. So codesaresaying something bout this thing. Only thing is I can't find this part at a auto parts store looks like a dealer part only. Does anyone know bout this part. I guess only the 2000 and later have it this way.

You could pick one up at a yard, My guess is it is going to be pricey. I have been on this site since 2007 and yours will be the first one I have heard of going bad.

I'm buying a new TAC from gmpartsdirect.com part #24506358. My question is does this have to be programed to my car. Or learn process. Or is it a plug and play thing? I emailed them and their reply back was.: We don't have access to that information.
