Default Help!

alright i was out cruising last night and i went to start my car and it died. it would crank over and start but it would get to 1400 rpm and then they would fall and die. i checked the battery and i had 1/2 a tank of gas. any advice is appreciated thanks

Alternator or you blew a vacuum line somewhere but itd be a major one.... also check your fuel pressure on the line


what year is ur car

its a 98 and itll start just fine but it dies after like 10seconds

ahhh ok then you need to check fuel pressure and listen under hood do you hear a huge vacuum leak? run the car for any codes car doesnt need to be running to do this

it works now, me and my brother looked at it and it started up like nothing happened

Guess it just needed a good "looking at"!
Seriously though, if it happened once, it can happen again, Cars generally aren't self-healing.
