HOLLY ****.... $700!!!!!... i bought a fuel filter last night.. but it was too dark out.. and the sits too low so i couldnt get underneath to find the filter.. so i had it towed to my sisters friends dads shop.. the town was only 20 buks.. he said he would take a look at it today...

before the car got towed.. i tried starting it up agian... ran rought a couple times.. then i started it one last time.. ran good for about 10 seconds then died.. nd wouldnt start anymore.

Thanks for the link... im still crossing my fingers that it wont be the fuel pump.. but at least now i know were to refer to if it comes down to it.. because im sure the shop wont want to cut a whole in the pannel.. and they will charge up the *** to remove all the other stuff...

is the SES light on?
The same thing happened to me (although it would run, just not like normal), and i replaced the filter, but got nothing.. Brought it to get scanned and i had a "random misfire" and something about the IAT sensor. The guy told me that the 2 codes can trigger each other, so i replaced the IAT sensor and it was fine.

Cutting out a panel to reach the fuel pump is a neat little trick, but you gotta be careful not to cut the fuel lines.
