fuses

Default fuses

i checked the fuse relays under the hood today to find that the fuse for the air pump isn't there. i'm not having any problems out of the car, or since i've had it, so is that supposed to be there or not? some fuses just aren't supposed to be there, but i don't know if this is one of them.

Power to the pump is provided throughthe "Secondary Air Injection Pump"relay. Should be a 20 amp fuse controlling the relay and a fusible link providing power to the relay.

Hmm. I wasn't even aware that V6 models were equipped with an air pump.

Some 3.4's have it. Don't know about 3.8's.

That's probably why. I'm almost certain that all 3.8s do not have them.

Check your emmissions lable under the hood. That will tell you for sure.
