I have a 93 3.4L Camaro and my fuel gauge is reading above full at all times even when the car is off i do not know how much gas i have in my car any ideas on how to fix the problem?

 

Has the fuel pump been replaced? The sending unit might be damaged.

Odd that it reads that way when the key is off, that could be a hosed gauge or a wiring short.

 

no the fuel pump hasnt been changed but u r right it could be a short some dumb *** cut the stereo wires before i got it also if i plug up my speedometer on the transmission it acts stupid while in park i can rev the engine and the speedometer starts to climb if i try to take off it shoots to 120mph and kills the car. I thought it was the sensor replaced it twice and the transmission as well still no luck i been using a GPS for the speedometer since i have had the car
