Default Fuel filter leaking..waddafux?

So I bought a new fuel filter and strapped that puppy on pretty easily.(I stupidly forgot to relieve the fuel pressure, and to my dismay causing my right upper body to get gasoline burn..) Well it seemed tight and snug but when I went to start the ole' maro I looked under and see slow dripping of gas. At this point im like---> So I crawl my skinny @ss under there and check the fitment of the bolt. Its tight and in there(giggity) but I see some seepage coming from the top of the bolt and running down the filter and dripping onto the ground.Could there be a not-so-good seal? The bolt just wearing down causing a little crease for fuel to escape?

Yep. Make sure you put one nice wrap around in the same directiont the filter threads on. If you go opposite direction the Teflon might peel off on you as you thread the filter back in place.
