Default Freeze plugs causing Overheating?

I might have a problem with my freeze plugs causing a coolant leak. I checked everythingHVAC, all hoses, and i even removed the thermostat to ease the pressure on the cooling sytembut after i did all thatI noticed that Istill had a leak at the back of the engine block. The leak was hittingmy exhaust pipe near the oil pan. The question i have is where can i find the locations of all the freeze plugs. Does anybody know how many there are in the back? or where i could find a drawing online. I would appreciate any help. What a sucky way to spend a labor day weekend!

Default RE: Freeze plugs causing Overheating?

HA! this was almost an endless saga with me. on the back of the block, like right in front of the flywheel (you willHAVE to remove the transmission) there are 3 freeze plugs there.theres one right next to the oil filter, one on the opposite side near the starter motor. and one near the water pump. ive replaced most of them using classic FP and some rubber ones that screw in. so far havent had a leak in months.
