foggy headlights!!?

Default foggy headlights!!?

my 2000 camaro has really foggy headlights
and ive tried just about all the headlight cleaner i can find and none of it works. i think its on the inside. is there any way to jus take off the front lenses without breaking it or will i have to buy all new lights?

I used "Never Dull" the other day. It worked awsome. It clears up the foggy look, and stay that way for awhile. Its eaiser to do than the polishing kit crap.

I have the same problem on my driver side headlight and I'm trying to buy one but there so expensive.

What you're experiencing is called "crazing" Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. There are various ways to deal with it. Using 2000 grit sandpaper and polishing like in the first link 02stangt posted is a route you will probably want to go if your headlights are seriously fogged over. What I usually do is use Meguire's Plastx and a Dremel with a buffing/polishing attachment. If you do use a Dremel be sure to keep it on a low speed and to not stay in one place too long. You can also just get a spray bottle full of water and while using the dremel or drill ,with a pollish wheel, just keep water in the place u are using them. This will keep from the place getting to hot , which will lead to ur lights getting damaged even more or the drill or dremel pad getting frayed or damaged.
