Default Finally some warm weather progress

Got the engine and tranny all mounted back in cradle, new rotors and pads, plugs, wires and freshly rebuilt engine. A few more hours of good weather and should be done. Can't wait to crank it over.

I didn't do the rebuild, not up to that level yet!
The machine shop that did the work said it needed a crank kit. They also bored the cylinders .030 over and put in new rods and pistons and did the heads. Complete rebuild.

Got the engine and tranny all bolted back in today. Cranked it over and it started and sounds good, no SES lights. Hopefully tomorrow, I can get the driveshaft in and bleed the brakes. Need to pick up a new drain plug for the radiator and we should be ready to ride. A few more things to troubleshoot - Security light stays on even though engine starts, not sure if PO has bypassed the security system or not. Airbag light is on and cannot get the low beams to switch to high beam. Just happy the engine fired up!

As far as the security light, do you leave the key in it all the time, or for long periods of time with the car off? If so fasten the seat belt with it started and see if that fixes it

P.s. Congrats man! Haha the fact that you had the nerves to finish it..these cars are HELL to work on lol
