The difference would be at the dyno, look for a Pacesetter comparison to:

Realistic gains are about 10 NA HP. 20-25 boosted/cam hp. Both are gains by upgrading from Pacesetters.

i plan on running true duals i.e. headers of some sort, x pipe, and i know im running maglaflow bullet mufflers with turndowns before the axle, 2.5 inch both sides, i heard a car with the same setup and it sounds AMAZING! it sounds like a 350Z on roids. and i got a GT2 cam too, i plan on doing the exhaust first then the cam, only reason why im waiting on the cam is because id like to get some L26 heads, if not im gonna run SI valves and have a shop do some porting and polishing that and ive been doins some expiramenting with a sheet metal intake and a N* throttle body with a LT1 maf and large injectors...but thats for a rainy day. id love some force fed fab LT's but 700 dollars? the pacesetters do the deed that and im curious if they tested the pacesetters as a true dual setup where as the fff's are true dual by nature...

Do what you like, but true duals seems like overkill in the 3.8... I never really liked the dumping before the axle look much, and if you go over the axle, you run into space constraints.

Also, if you're going to do all that you mention, you *should* go with FFF...
