And in reply let me get this one. You're an idiot. No part of your response gave him any help in upgrading the power in his V6. I assume you read the question, and yet no part of your reply had anything to do with upgrading a V6. Amazing the short attention span of Americans. You suppose he buy a 1977 Camaro V8? With 160 HP? Then play the modding and guessing game all over? Keep your pessimism in your head.

Easiest way is a cat back and cold air for instant, power. You can get more technical, and slap some headers on and look into a Comp Cam camshaft/lifter package, and that'll give a noticable horsepower punch, not to mention the "thumpity thump" at idle. Upgrade the MAF and throttle body as well.

There is no MAF on a 3.4.

Really? Interesting. I have a 3.8 and I put a Summit Racing MAF on it. My bad.

How come none of the newer guys sense sarcasm? No sense of humor perhaps? If you would have used your attention span a little better, you would have noticed that chappie has a v6 and what he said was quoted, maybe meaning it was said by someone else previously and now its a joke? So in retrospect who is the idiot for blowing off the handle for no reason? Hmm...

That answer actually entertained me too, but then I have a good sense of humor. Although Chappie said it in jest, the motive has some merit. I used to have a 94 with the 3.4 and really liked the car, but didn't like the fact that my wife could blow my doors off with her Chrysler minivan! My next one was a 96 Z28, and after that I never looked back, except to keep an eye on the 3.4's in the mirror! I'll NEVER have a v-6 Camaro again, it just ain't right (for me anyway)!!! I know you get attached to your car, and it's hard to part with it, believe me I've been there. So with the shopping list of headers, exhaust, cold air intake, cam, lifters, FI upgrades and other related items you could easily spend a couple grand or more, plus a hell of a lot of your time, and you'll still get blown away by a Z28. Nothing is going to give that 3.4 the same kind of torque you get with the Z.
